Historic Outline
The plant named Rondinella comes from Monografia Agraria in the providence of Verona, described for the first time around the year 1880.
In the provenance of Verona and Mantova the cultivation is more diffused.
The grapes from this particular plant are used in the making of the following wines:
– Valpolicella
– Valpolicella Amarone
– Bardolino

Characteristics
The leaf is of a medium to big size, pentagonal in shape with very ridged edges.
The bunches of grapes are approximately 20 cm. long with a pyramid shape and very compact.
The grape is of a medium size, round in shape and dark violet in colour. The skin is very firm and the pulp is juicy with a simple but sweet taste.
