“Selection Gold Edition” Amarone … a superior quality product where bouquet, color, body and flavour come after many years of refinement in Slavonia Oak Tonneaux. The highest degrees of excellence are achieved. Serve at 18-20° C and open at least 1 hour before pouring.
ALCOHOL CONTENT: 16% Vol.
AVAILABLE FORMAT: Lt. O,75

Area of Origin: Selected vineyards in the Negrar area and in the heart of Valpolicella Classica.
Grapes Used: Corvina (70%), Rondinella (20%), Molinara (5%), Cabernet (5%).
Cultivation: The vines are grown at a density of about 4000 plants per hectare.
Yield per hectare: yields a maximum of 80 quintals of grapes per hectare making about 25 hl of wine
Age and conditions of the grape-gathering: grapes are selected directly from the plants and dried on a mat on wooden floors in a well-ventilated space until the end of January.
Wine-making Process: pressed and thinned out of the grape in the first days of February. The wine-making fermentation in stainless steel for a medium to long time (30 to 40 days) at a controlled temperature of 15° to 20°C. Following this there is a remaining coat of must on the skin of the grapes for a few days in order to optimize the extraction of the polyphony substances
Refinement: 30 months in Oak barrels, followed by 6 months in Oak tonneaux and 6 months in the bottle.
Preservation: 8 to 10 years.
CHARACTERISTICS OF THE WINE

Colour: deep ruby red.
Fragrance: an intense fragrance of liquored black cherries, sweet-meats and various spices
Flavour: a complex and full-bodied flavour.

Serving Temperature: 18°-20°C
Best coupled with: roasts, barbequed meats, game meat, cheeses, heavy pasta dishes and spicy foods.
