The Classical Valpolicella area,

It’s an area predisposed to the realization of great red Wines, situated in the three principal valley in the north of Verona, in which are located the municipalities of Negrar, Fumane, San Pietro in Cariano, Marano and Sant’Ambrogio di Valpolicella.
In this area is rooted the tradition and the history of Valpolicella wine and is in this territory who the Copernico Company serches and selects the better wines.

Vineyards,
The Grapevines, in the Classic Valpolicella are placed at an average altitude, between 100/150 and 400/450 metres on sea level. They are situated on quiet hills, irregular slopes and level distance that are supported by the “Marogne”, the typical dry walls.
On these territories Grapevines of different qualities are prevalently cultivated: Corvina, Rondinella, Molinara and Cabernet Sauvignon.

Wine cellar
The great red wines, like Amarone, Recioto and Ripasso, can find in the typical wine cellars of Valpolicella the ideal climate for the long refining in the Oak barrels that are necessary to express all the wines vast qualities.
